Brothers and founders of CSB Homes, Carlo and Sandro Beretta, came to Australia from Italy in the 1980s bringing with them many years of construction experience and expertise. Initially involved in commercial construction, they gained recognition for their work on advanced building components, particularly curtain wall window systems, securing contracts for notable projects like Telecom Plaza and Quay West residential apartments.

By 1994, they had established CSB Homes, earning a reputation for quality construction and building up to 50 speculative homes annually. They later specialized in custom-built homes, allowing clients to design homes on their own land.
